Going postal with my heart...

Feb 15, 2018
Happy Thursday! It is my turn to share my DT make for Just For Fun Rubber Stamps. Today I am sharing a heart card I made just in time for Valentines day. Ok, so it's the day after but it's the thought that counts!
I've always been a fan of black and white with a pop of color. This stamp did the job quite nicely. The stamp is called Postal Hearts and is available in the shop. A great way to stretch your stamp use further is using various elements and cutting them out. You can create imaginative and interesting results.
Have a wonderful day!

An embellished recipe card...

Feb 1, 2018
Happy Thursday! It's my turn to share a DT card for Just For Fun Rubber Stamps and it's a bit different than my usual make.
I hope you are all enjoying the start of fabulous February. Are you going to watch the Super Bowl? Do you have any recipes that you bust out just for the big game? I do, well just one and it isn't food. I am big fan of citrus and I love making Orange Julius! It brings back fun memories of shopping and the mall with friends and sitting around the food court.
Here is my make...
I decided to create a recipe card with 2 fun stamps. The first stamp is called canning jar large and the second one is citrus slice. I like being able to decorate my recipe cards as I don't take photos of my done recipes. someday my son will get my recipe book and I hope that having some interesting embellishments will maybe encourage him to try a recipes or two.
Have a wonderful day!

Ouch!

Jan 21, 2018
Good day peeps! Today I am sharing a digital scrapbook page I made of my son in a not so fun situation! It was a mommy freak out moment for sure. I had to get this memory down on paper!
My son was bitten by a spider on his eyelid when he was about a year old. Of course when I went to get him out of his crib and saw his eye, I literally freaked out! Who knew such a small insect could pack such a punch. No pun intended.

The digital set I used is called Fix Me Up Doc by KAagard and you can find the kit HERE. There are so many fun elements that this kit will be used again as my son grows and gets into more mischief.

Have a crafty day!

A Little Planner Shaker...

Jan 18, 2018
Happy Thursday! DT Carolyn here and today I am going to share with you a little planner shaker that I made. It's simple, colorful and cute!

I am a planner addict and LOVE planner accessories. I thought this fun Stamp Tangle stamp would be perfect to decorate my January monthly calendar.
The stamp I used is called Stamp Tangle Chickadee and you can find it now in the store. Here is my supply list...
-fuchsia ink from StazOn
-paper is Gina K
-sequins from Craftin Desert Divas
-1 photo sleeve
-fuze tool
-ruler
-arc edge punch (or punch for your binder/planner edge)
-double sided tape
-crafters stencil plastic

I stamped my image onto my card stock and cut is out. I took 1 photo sleeve and inserted my image. Carefully measuring, I decided how much room I wanted around the image. Using My fuse tool and a ruler, I bonded 3 sides of the pocket.
Next, I inserted my sequins, making sure to keep them at the opposite end of the unfinished edge. I then again used the fuse tool to close the top. I used my Arc edge punch and template plastic and punched an edge to adhere to the edge of my pocket. I then used double sided tape and joined my pocket to the edge of my punch out.

I hope you like my project, I can see many cold winter days being spent making cute accessories for my planner!

Just For Run Rubber Stamps Flash Back...

Jan 4, 2018
Hi ya Just For Fun fans!  It's freezing up here in Minnesota and we've got snow, ice and well below zero wind chills. School started today and I am getting back into the swing of things.  Today I am re-sharing with you a"zentangle" inspired card featuring cat images that are super cute!

I just LOVE this stamp. It is called  Stamptangle Cats and you can find it here in the JFFRS store. I created the window scene and decided to add a little wallpaper around the frame to give the scene a more realistic feel.
I also decided to make each cat different just to showcase the many ways you can color these fun stamps.
